Sunchoke (Helianthus tuberosus) aka Jerusalem Artichoke tubers for planting this spring, and to have forevermore! We have plenty available and they can still be planted through May.
Sunchokes are an edible, native perennial plant in the sunflower family with a fascinating history, they're the only cultivated plant native to North America that we still eat to this day.
We have had sunchokes growing on our property for decades.
Good info about planting sunchokes is here from Fedco in Maine, click on the 'Additional Information' tab below the description:

$10/pound
We have 2 varieties, a red-skinned (more elongated shape) and a tan-skinned (more round and knobby).
Ours are 100% organically grown but are not Certified-Organic. Certified-Organic sunchokes are for sale in the Hudson Valley for $15.99/half-pound, so these are a super deal at $10 per pound.

***Please NOTE that sunchokes spread aggressively and once you have them growing it is very hard to get rid of them! In other words, plant them in an area of your property where you don't mind them multiplying and coming back more each year.
Also know they are extremely tall plants up to 10+ feet that will create shade so it's ideal to plant them on the North side of the property or wherever they won't block the sun from other plants.
