Wild watercress grows with abandon in the cold, clear water of our spring-fed pond.
 
We planted a packet of Certified-Organic Watercress seed along the edges about 10 years ago and it has come back every year since, except for this past winter 2025-6, when it appears that it froze and didn't return! There's a little bit beginning to sprout back from seed along the banks and hopefully later this summer we'll have it available to wade in and cut once again!
